  • Frank has been shoeing and trimming our hunter/jumpers and Welsh Ponies for over 20 years. Six of our Welsh Ponies have won Canadian National titles while under Frank's care, including three-time Canadian National Champion Section D Welsh Cob stallion Goldhills Brandysnap (pictured right). Frank is always cheerful and is incredibly kind and patient with the horses. Always on time and efficient, he helps keep our barn running smoothly.

Frank Jackson has been our farrier since moving to the Onoway area in 1996. We have an eclectic herd of horses over the last few years, ranging from newborn foals, broodmares, miniature horses, ponies, pleasure and competition horses - all makes and models. Frank has always provided professional service and has never been late! I'm sure all his customers can attest to his punctuality! His work is beyond reproach and our senior citizen dressage horse Blake thanks him for helping make his retirement years sound and happy. All our horses have bonded with Frank and he is very fair and patient with them - they trust him implicitly - and so do I.

Frank has been our farrier for almost 20 years and has never let us down. He is extremely organised, punctual, and efficient. Our horse Sonny was diagnosed with navicular about 7 years ago. Under Franks care he remains one of the busiest horses on the farm. He is used as a lesson and trail horse on a regular basis and rarely takes a lame step. We had some x-rays done on Sonny last year and the vet said he was very well balanced and that Frank was doing an excellent job. We trust Frank completely with the care of all our horses.

Frank has been my farrier since 2004. He does a fantastic job on all my equines, which include a Paint, a Zangersheide, and a Miniature Donkey! I have always, and will continue to appreciate Franks impeccable work ethic and his vast knowledge of his craft. I recently started showing in the Hunter ring and Frank is helping me keep my jumper in top form!

Frank has been my farrier ever since I had my first horse over 15 years ago. He has been shoeing my upper-level three day eventer for the past five years and maintains the highest standard of workmanship. My horse's feet always look healthy and strong, and I have never experienced any issues with foot soundness or lost shoes. Frank is not only reliable, quick and professional but also extremely accommodating in scheduling too-early morning appointments to have my horse's feet in ideal condition for competitions. I rely greatly on, and trust Frank for keeping my partner in top form.
